Ice Bucket Challenge for ALS
Coach Chris was nominated by the Irvine Slammers Soccer Club to take the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge! Was he able to keep his squat hold without flinching the whole time?
Breast Cancer Awareness Month
Throughout the month of October, we will be donating $5 for every bootcamper wearing PINK at any of our weekend classes.The best protection is early detection! For anyone who gets a mammogram this month, show us a copy of your receipt and we’ll donate $20 to the Fight Against Breast Cancer! Lastly, we will MATCH any donations made through us (up to $100) this month!

Make Every Woman Count 5K/10K Run for Breast Cancer Awareness
Sweat City was the official race coach for the MEWC 5K/10Kin Van Nuys on June 7th. All money raised for the event was donated towards organizing free mammogram exams in Southern CA to increase awareness and prevention of breast cancer.

Run/Walk at CicLAvia
CicLAvia is an awesome event where Wilshire Blvd from Miracle Mile to Downtown LA are blocked off for the day (Sun, June 23rd), and people are encouraged to run/walk or ride their bikes down the boulevard. Our plan is to meet where the closure starts in Miracle Mile at 9:00 am. Once everyone has arrived, we will do a quick warmup and then take off towards downtown. Our goal is to run/walk all the way, a total of 6 miles! Email us to participate or if you have any questions:
