How to Stay Motivated on Your Fitness Journey




Whether you just started your fitness journey or you are a well on your way to making it lifestyle we all have those days and weeks where we just to feel it. We have all experienced giving up, and some days it feels like it's the only option, but it's not!


Here are a few tips on staying motivated during your fitness journey


Take it one day at a time

We say it all the time, but it's true. your fitness journey is all about consistency and the more consistent you are the more successful you'll be. If you had a bad day, that's okay move on from it and start over tomorrow.


Create a vision board or journal your vision

Using a visual representation of what you want out of life will help you manifest it to come true. Writing thoughts and feelings down will help you organize how you feel and give you affirmations of accomplishing your goals. Visualize a mental image of who and how you want to be.


Create your favorite playlist

Find that playlist that just gets you in your happy place. Or listen to your favorite podcast.


Be kind to yourself

Treat yourself with respect and kindness. Talk to yourself as you would with a loved one. Allow for mistakes to happen and move forward from them.


Don't compare yourself to others

You are strong and you are you! Your fitness journey is about becoming the best version of yourself, not somebody else. Stay true to who you are.


Acknowledge your progress

When you are pushing hard at the gym sometimes it's easy to forget about where we started. Acknowledge all of your progress either by how you feel, how your clothes fit, or how strong you are getting.


Treat yourself!

Reward yourself but with things that will help you succeed in your fitness journey. Treat yourself to something that will help you be the best version of you. This is self-care; it is what you need to be the best person mentally and physically.


Set small attainable goals

Be realistic with yourself and set some deadlines so you can plan how you will achieve these goals.


Find the perfect workout gear for YOU!

Get properly fitted for sneakers, purchase some nice workout clothes that will last and help you feel confident and strong. We can't stress enough the importance of investing in items that will help you feel better and train better with fewer injuries. There is nothing like some new gym clothes or accessories to jump-start your fitness lifestyle.
